Healing from a loss is not easy. It can be a long, sometimes painful process. It also can seem as if no one understands how you’re feeling. Community Hospice of Texas does understand. We are here for you – before, during and after the death of a loved one.
Some people prefer one-on-one sessions while other people find reassurance in group support settings. We provide a comprehensive bereavement program that allows you to begin the healing process in a manner that is most comfortable to you. Grief support is offered through informal group activities, individual counseling, support groups and educational information.
Community Hospice of Texas understands the special needs of children in the grieving process. A certified child life specialist can assist children who are patients in our pediatric hospice program as well as children who are dealing with the loss of a loved one.
Even if your loved one was not a patient of Community Hospice of Texas, we offer bereavement and support groups as a service to anyone who has experienced the death of a family member or friend. We will be with you every step of the way to provide support in your journey from mourning to joyful memories.
