Life’s Hope, Community Hospice of Texas’ first fundraising luncheon, was held May 10 at Colonial Country Club. Approximately 200 guests, invited and hosted by friends of CHT, were enlightened by remarks from Dr. Angel Negron, a former CHT medical director and leading Fort Worth oncology specialist, and touched by the powerful story from Kelly Wicker-Wilson, the mother of six-year-old Sarah, a former CHT patient. Both Dr. Negron and Ms. Wicker-Wilson conveyed the dramatic impact Community Hospice has on patients and families. We are indebted to these marvelous individuals for sharing their moving experiences with us.
We are thrilled to announce that through the efforts of our volunteers and guests, Life’s Hope raised over $85,000 in contributions and pledges for Community Hospice of Texas. Our deepest gratitude and thanks for this tremendous support.
