Why Give?

Community Hospice of Texas is honored to be the recipient of many charitable gifts and contributions each year.

In keeping with our non-profit mission, no medically eligible patient referred to hospice is denied care due to lack of financial resources. Each year, Community Hospice of Texas provides more than $450,000 non-reimbursed nursing care, family support, counseling, supplies and equipment, medications and bereavement support.

Community Hospice of Texas, the largest non-profit hospice in Texas, has two in-patient facilities available to patients who are unable to remain in their homes. You may wish to provide a contribution to one of those facilities — the Emery J. Lilge Hospice House in Burleson or the Community Hospice of Texas Hospice House Downtown in Fort Worth — for routine operation. These restricted contributions help us to maintain a comfortable and comforting environment in these much needed, and utilized, facilities.

Our ability to provide charity care is supported by thousands of committed friends and supporters. We invite you to consider a contribution to Community Hospice of Texas in honor or memory of a loved one. If you wish to designate your gift to support care at a specific delivery site, or for a particular use, please do so.

Contributions may be made by using our online contribution form. Please contact Pam Chevreaux, Chief Development Director, at 817-878-3709 with questions or information regarding restricted gifts.

As a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, all contributions to Community Hospice of Texas are fully tax deductible.
