Community Healthcare of Texas Announces New Chair of Board of Directors

FORT WORTH, TX, January 11, 2022 – Community Healthcare of Texas, the Fort Worth-headquartered not-for-profit hospice and palliative care provider, announces the recent appointment of Rabbi Ralph Mecklenburger as the Chair of its Board of Directors.

Rabbi Mecklenburger first served on the Board of Directors in 2013 for six years and was re-elected in 2021. He has served on the Executive, Finance, and Development Committees during his board tenure.

After 32 years, in 2016, Rabbi Mecklenburger retired as Senior Rabbi of the Beth-El Congregation in Fort Worth. He currently serves as Rabbi Emeritus. He has received numerous honors over his nearly four decades of service to the community, including Fort Worth’s Multicultural Alliance presenting him with its annual award for his interfaith and interethnic work in 2011.
