Community Healthcare of Texas and Community Healthcare of Texas – Providence Hospice has cared for patients with serious and terminal illnesses throughout North Central Texas since 1996. Because many patients respond best when care is provided in the comfort and familiar surroundings of home, Community Healthcare of Texas provides services wherever our patient calls home – whether it is a private residence, an assisted living community, a nursing home, or a hospital. While Community Healthcare of Texas has office locations in Cleburne, Fort Worth, and Waco, care is provided in 24 counties throughout the North Central Texas area. If a more intensive level of patient care is needed to control acute pain and other symptoms or provide respite for the caregiver, Community Healthcare of Texas has two licensed inpatient facilities plus inpatient contractual relationships with numerous nursing facilities and hospitals.

Community Healthcare of Texas understands the financial stress that medical issues can put on a family. Often patients and their families are concerned with how they will pay for hospice care. Hospice services are covered in full by Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance plans with little or no expense to the patient. As the state’s largest not-for-profit hospice and palliative care provider, Community Healthcare of Texas works closely with patients and families to find solutions if additional help is needed.
