Uplifting Lives and Communities: Community Healthcare of Texas Celebrates National Hospice and Palliative Care Month

Community Healthcare of Texas, the state’s largest not-for-profit adult and pediatric hospice and palliative care provider, is proud to join the nation in celebrating November as National Hospice and Palliative Care Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness of advanced illness care and recognizing the compassionate and dedicated care provided to patients and their families during life’s most challenging moments.

Community Healthcare of Texas extends its heartfelt gratitude to the remarkable staff and volunteers who dedicate their time, expertise, and compassion to ensure that every patient’s needs are met with the utmost care and respect. Their tireless efforts empower Community Healthcare of Texas to continue its mission of providing expert, compassionate care across North Central Texas.

Throughout the month of November, Community Healthcare of Texas will be sharing resources designed to support and educate patients, their families, and caregivers when facing serious illnesses like lung disease, cardiac disease, and dementia.

“Over the past several months, in collaboration with our colleagues at the National Partnership for Healthcare and Hospice Innovation (NPHI), we have been developing disease-specific patient and caregiver guides for those facing chronic and life-limiting illnesses,” said Viki Jingle, CEO at Community Healthcare of Texas. “Since 1996, Community Healthcare of Texas has been steadfast in our commitment to provide the highest quality expert care to patients and families throughout the communities we serve. These new resources are a reflection of that commitment.”
