Community Healthcare of Texas CEO Joins National Hospice Board

Community Healthcare of Texas is proud to announce that Viki Jingle, the organization’s Chief Executive Officer, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the National Partnership for Healthcare and Hospice Innovation (NPHI).

NPHI is a distinguished membership organization consisting of over 100 not-for-profit, community-integrated hospice and palliative care providers committed to advancing high-quality end-of-life care. The organization focuses on collaboration, innovation, and advocacy to enhance the delivery of compassionate and comprehensive services to individuals and families facing serious illnesses.

Viki first joined Community Healthcare of Texas when the organization was founded in 1996 and was instrumental in its growth to become the state’s largest not-for-profit hospice and palliative care provider. Before being named CEO of Community Healthcare of Texas, Viki worked in the for-profit hospice sector for several years. This experience gives her a unique perspective and understanding of the philosophical differences between for-profit and not-for-profit hospice providers. She is an advocate for patient-centered care and is proud to work in the not-for-profit hospice sector, where she can ensure patients, families, and communities have access to exceptional care regardless of financial limitations.

“We are delighted to welcome Viki to the board,” stated Tom Koutsoumpas, NPHI CEO. “Her accomplishments and dedication to enhancing patient-centered care will be beneficial to the work we are conducting nationally. We look forward to leveraging her talents to ensure NPHI and its members continue to deliver the highest quality serious illness care in the nation.”

Viki expressed enthusiasm about the appointment, stating, “I am honored to join the esteemed board of NPHI and collaborate with like-minded not-for-profit hospice and palliative care professionals who share a passion for elevating patient care. Together, we can make a meaningful impact on individuals and families during some of their most challenging moments.”
