Providence Hospice-Community Healthcare of Texas proudly announces the expansion of its services in the Bi-Stone area with the opening of a new palliative care clinic at Limestone Medical Center in Groesbeck. This new clinic is dedicated to addressing the needs of patients with chronic and terminal conditions, emphasizing symptom management and improving overall quality of life.

“The goal of our new palliative care clinic is to provide an extra layer of support to patients facing a serious illness by helping them complete advance care planning, review their goals of care, and assist with symptom management. Our intention is not to replace primary care clinicians but to serve as an additional resource, helping patients and their families plan for the future,” said Dr. Joshua Wesley, Medical Director for Providence Hospice-Community Healthcare of Texas. “Our specialized approach to palliative care will significantly improve the lives of patients in the Bi-Stone area. This new clinic exemplifies our commitment to serving the community and improving the quality of life for those we serve.”

The ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 15, 2024, celebrated the clinic’s official opening. The event was attended by local officials, healthcare professionals, and community members, who gathered to commemorate this significant milestone. Attendees had the opportunity to meet the dedicated team of healthcare providers and learn more about the specialized services offered.

Since its founding in 1996, Providence Hospice-Community Healthcare of Texas has been the largest not-for-profit hospice and palliative care provider for children and adults across 24 North Central Texas counties.
