Meet Our Executive Leadership Team

Victoria Jingle, B.B.A., M.B.A. – Chief Executive Officer

Viki Jingle was instrumental in the development of Community Healthcare of Texas in 1996 and its strong presence in the years since.  She has served in various roles within the organization and became the Chief Executive Officer in early 2017.  Viki strongly believes in the mission and vision of Community Healthcare of Texas of centering care around the patient regardless of financial status, giving back to the communities we serve, and ensuring that our employees and physicians provide the best care possible to patients and their families.  Viki attended The University of Texas at Arlington, receiving a degree in Accounting, and the University of Dallas, where she received a master’s degree in Business Administration.  Viki’s personal experience with her family has given her great insight into the genuinely caring nature and extensive support that hospice and palliative care can provide for those at the end of life.

Kristy Johnke, LMSW, RN, CHC, CCM – Chief Operating Officer

Kristy Johnke joined Community Healthcare of Texas in 2017, first as the Chief Compliance Officer and, most recently, as the Chief Operating Officer.  Kristy brings years of valuable experience in both Nursing and Social Work to her position.  She received her Associate of Science degree in Nursing from Excelsior College, her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Studies from The University of North Texas, and her Master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Texas in Arlington.  With over 18 years in the healthcare industry in both the for-profit and not-for-profit arena, Kristy believes that the ability to remove barriers and provide quality patient care is the essence of not-for-profit hospice and palliative care. While in graduate school, Kristy completed an internship with a hospice organization that, combined with personal family experience, allowed her to realize that caring for those at the end of life was her calling.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and travel.

Karen Godfrey, M.D. – Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Godfrey has worked with Community Healthcare of Texas since 2008. She is double boarded in Hospice & Palliative Care and Family Medicine.  Dr. Godfrey brings over 29 years of medical experience and 14 years of hospice and palliative care experience to the organization. She oversees a 30-member team of physicians and believes that we are providing the best quality of life by putting the patient and family first and at the center of care.  Dr. Godfrey received her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas in Austin and her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical School in Houston.  After years in private practice, Dr. Godfrey felt the calling to become a hospice and palliative care physician.  When her mother was admitted to the hospice program at Community Healthcare of Texas, Dr. Godfrey saw first-hand the care and support that the patient and all family members receive from a dedicated hospice team.  Her mission is to ensure that all patients receive the same excellent and loving care that her mother did regardless of their ability to pay.  Dr. Godfrey enjoys reading, cooking, volunteering with Euless Trinity High School, and spending time with her family in her spare time.
